how do i install my new ink cartridge on my dell 924 printer?

Okay, here’s the deal. I’ve been running low on ink for a while now. So, Walgreen’s (a store) now offers a great deal, they refill your ink cartridges for like, $15. So I took the ink and got them back, and I put them inside my printer. But, now, my computer still says that I have low ink and it is impossible for me to print the stuff I need. What do I do? Please help! BTW, Dell has really been a let down for me, I looked forward to working with them but now I see that they just have a chain, a monopoly. You want a Dell Printer? Well, be prepared to pay $149 plus shipping to get your ink replacements, OR get it at Walgreen’s and have it not work. I am extremely disappointed, I especially want to know why the instructions are not more accessible, and why they make it so darn hard to simply print something. I want user-friendly equipment! (Yes, I already read the manual) Step-by-step orientation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Try restarting the printer. if that doesn’t work, take it back to the store and tell them that they messed up your ink cartridge. See if they can get a replacement for you. You can also check ebay for ink to save money.
