Refilled Ink Cartridges Toronto
Nov/100

This will be my 1st time to buy a printer. Which is the best one to buy? My laptop is “Compaq Presario R3000″.
I would like to use the printer mainly for text documents. I got confused when I went to Future Shop in Toronto, and I learned about different options like Inkjet Printers and Laser Printers; document printers that could also be copiers, scanners, photo printers, and faxes; and the refills for ink cartridges and toners, etc. I was also informed that laser printers, although more expensive (and its toners are also more expensive), will come out cheaper in the long run than inkjet printers because I would not have to buy another toner in the next 6 months. However, the quality of printing of lasers are not as good as the ink jet printers.
Ink jet printers, on the other hand, are cheaper at first, but the ink cartridges last only a short time. Nevertheless, the printing quality is better.
I am confused now and I do not know which is the best printer to buy that would have the best quality at the cheapest price (if there is such a thing), including the refills for ink and toner.
So glad you asked this question BEFORE you purchased.
Screw Future Shop, they’ll soak you for the same quality printer that you can get elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.
If you have the Superstore in Toronto then go to their electronics department and pick out a cheap HP all-in-one printer/scanner/copier.
Seriously I have purchased top end printers, mid-range printers, and I have now replaced them with the $50 (Canadian) printers that I can get at Superstore, they totally serve the purpose and it’s cheap to replace the ink cartridges.
There’s 3 or 4 models of cheap HP all-in-ones, and they range in price by about $10-$15 each. Don’t go higher than $75 . . . around $50 is best.
If you don’t have Superstore then I know Walmart also has cheap printers.
I just bought another one last week for my other computer . . . the same printer I paid $49.99 for at Superstore was $119 at FutureShop, I kid you not!
Stay AWAY from the “photo” printer, whether you want to print photo’s or not. I have an Epson one, it costs a fortune in ink and takes a ton of ink even when printing text documents . . . and I find the picture quality on the photo printer is actually worse than on the HP all in ones.
Good luck, hope this helps.
