Refill Ink Cartridges Troubleshooting

‘Print cartridge error’ for HP PSC 1350 all-in-one printer?
Recently I have been having issues with my HP printer – whenever I try to print, a ‘print cartridge error’ is displayed.
After numerous emails with HP customer support involving numerous troubleshooting steps, I called HP customer support where I may have gotten a decent answer. It seems that since I use refilled ink cartridges, the printer shows a print cartridge error.
I was told that buying new cartridges will solve the problem, due to some issue with the gold contacts on refilled cartridges. Will this solve the problem? I don’t want to buy new cartridges and then not use them.
Thanks.
Hi
To solve your HP problem. YES YES YES YES. Buy the original cartridge, put it in and the printer will work Period. HP printers are fussy and half the time, refills work but, their is 50% chance that it won’t.
Also, you are lucky because when you use refill cartridges, HP void their warranty. Buy the original cartridge and drop them in. Remove the power cable for 10 seconds. PLug it in.
Open the Toolbox and tell it that you have installed new cartridges and re-align. That’s it.
