Refill Ink Cartridges At Walmart

Can anyone help me with a PSC ??
I have a HP PSC500 that is out of ink. A friend told me about the refill kits at Walmart but I have a question: To get printouts, do I have to refill all the colors?
Right now for my purposes, it doesn’t matter if the pictures come out correctly colored as long as it comes out in some manner and I can see what the crochet pattern is of. It works fine but the ink is almost gone as the black printing is coming out pinkish.
Can I get away with filling just the black ink cartridge??

With the HP you can just use black. But refilling doesn’t work like you think. Bad output and clogged cartridges. Suck it up and buy a real cartridge. It’ll save you headaches later on.
