Recycling Ink Cartridges Used
Nov/100

I have a HP4600 and use recycled ink cartridges, the problem I have is it only prints black pages. Why?
This can be caused by a few things including a bad cartrdige.
Poor contact in the drum ground, primary charging
bias, and developing bias contacts of the high-voltage
PCB and the print cartridge. – Clean the contacts on the cartridge for the affected color. If they are still dirty after cleaning, or if they are damaged, replace the cartridge.
Primary charging roller is defective. – Replace the print cartridge for the affected color.
High-voltage PCB is defective. – Replace the high-voltage PCB.
DC controller PCB is defective. – Replace the DC controller PCB. Calibrate the printer after replacing the DC controller.
Unfortunately unless it is a bad cartridge a service tech will have repair the machine.
