It is all in one printer uses less ink?

I have Lexmark X4270 All-In-One printer to work at home. Use with ink, but so much more! Does anyone know any one that does not use much ink. I've bought a moderate yield color cartridges, and I know that use more ink, but I have not had much luck when normal cartridges. I almost went out for two weeks and a moderate yield of the cartridge does not print a lot! Thanks!
