my printer is new and has about 3 or 4 problems, can anyone help?
my computer is a windows XP 2000, my printer is a Lexmark X5650 and i called the company about a few problems and they sent me a new one. now on this one its has some problems. 1. the ink levels r always at 0% and i installed new cartridges and it still says ink levels at 0%. 2. whenever i try to print more then 1 page, it prints 1 page and then it shuts off, restarts and does not print the rest. 3.whenever it goes into power saving mode it turns right back on. can anyone help
I hate Lexmark printers, because they always have problems.
The only thing about the ink levels is that sometimes you have to go into the printer control panel and manually tell it you’ve put new cartridges in. It doesn’t sense the ink level, it simply guesses based on what you print an approximate amount of ink left.
I would just go through the settings and see if there is anything selected that might cause some odd behavior. Other than that, if you still don’t like it, get a new printer, not Lexmark.
