Inkjet Photo Printer Reviews
Nov/100

What brand of printers is cheapest to purchase and maintain?
I don’t care about print quality or speed. I am a college student and I’ll use it almost exclusively for printing assignments, news articles, and research. As long as it can print text I can read, it’s quality is acceptable. I would mostly like a printer who’s cartridges are cheap both in cost and ink output. I would also like it to be wireless. Does anyone know where I can find reviews based on my specifications, most sites seem to focus on photo and graphic quality, which is unimportant to me.
I have my eye on this Lexmark at Circuit City (which also has a ton of it’s cartridges on sale as well):

If you’re gpnig to be printing assignments a mono laser is the best bet, and use college printers for the occasional colour output.
Laser is a LOT cheaper per page for printing, although the printers cost a little more to buy at first.
Going wireless “might” seem a good idea, but a lot of people have problems getting themto connect reliably, so I’d always stick with USB or a network cabled one.
