Printer won’t work with new notebook…….?
Those of you who are computer literate will hopefully get this……..
Notebook – Runs Vista
Printer – Dell 720 for XP and below (ink jet)
Problem – They won’t communicate.
What I’ve tried……. New drivers. Various advice from Dell and ages tweaking and downloading stuff.
Arrrrrrghhhhh ! Anyone who can give me a Solution? Thanks.

What advice did Dell give you? Like update drivers and such? Well the main case is this.. That printer is for XP and your notebook runs in Vista. As we all know, Vista is sh**e when it comes to compatibility with hardwares and softwares.
Drivers in this case are the main solutions for it. Maybe you got a different driver. Make sure that if your Vista is 32bit, you download the Vista 32bit driver for your Dell 720.
