What is the best type of computer printer for home use?
Ink-Jet? Laser? Anything else?
I print a lot of pictures/photos on my printer but I’ve noticed that the colors fade (especially red) after long exposure to light. They are not ever in direct sunlight. The majority of these pictures have been taken with a digital camera and many of these pictures were meant to be framed and displayed.
I would really like to be able to print quality photos rather than taking them to be processed somewhere.
Please help… My memories are fading!
I also print my own pictures, & the one I like is the HP 6940. The one I have now is my second one. A gear went out in my first one, & I went & bought another one just like it. They never jam, & they print great pictures. There’s only two ink cartridges in it, which I like, too, not 6 like some have.
It’s a very reliable printer, I think. It’s not just a photo printer, it’s a full sized printer. It does a great job on anything you want to print. I work in a library & we bought one for there, too. I highly recommend it.
