How do you open an anti-theft security case w/o destroying it?

I purchased an ink cartridge at my local walmart. Now that I have it at home, I realized that the dumb sales clerk didn’t take off the special security case. Is there any way I can unlock the security case w/o destroying it? It’s a nice case, so I would like to save it.

The whole point of these cases is so that you can’t open them without the appropriate key. If you could open them without the key then they wouldn’t deter people from stealing.

If you don’t have the right key, you will have to go back to the shop you bought it from and ask them to take it off. Make sure to take your receipt or they will think you stole it.

I don’t know if they will let you keep the case without buying it (separate from buying the ink cartridge) but unless you have the key it won’t be much use to you anyway.
