Which All in one Printer,Scanner,copier and fax machine to buy for home use?

I am looking for an All in one printer machine. My choice would be “hp” as the ink cartridge of it can be refilled. The other thing I would like to see is a good scanner function. Please guide me.

I just brought the Canon Pixma MP620 – its a wireless all-in-one with excellent photo printing, scanning – but no fax. I’d been waiting for it to hit the stores as the early reviews were excellent.

It is brandnew to the market (the new version of the mp 520). It took me about 1 hour to take out of the box, set up the wireless and print my first photo.

The photo came out camera store quality, using the sample paper that was provided. I was extremely impressed.

But then I printed an 8 x 10 on some old HP photo paper I had. The quality was not nearly as good. The print setup allows you to select the type of paper…listing canon paper first, then generic.

I expect I selected the wrong type of paper because the quality was not nearly there. I’ll try to print the same picture again when I pick up some Canon paper tomorrow..

So far I’m very pleased, however.

Also – I forgot to mention….the nice thing about this printer is that the ink comes in 5 separate cartridges, so you only replace the ones that are empty.
