Ink Cartridges Not Working

Old ink will not work? Help!?
My friend recently gave me an old Lexmark Z52 printer and you're still inside that existed Music still run. I would say that the printer is out there in 1-2 years in underground storage. And I have a printer setup and everything on my computer, but not to paint the cvomes. Are these printheads is bad or too old to use? I tried to put the cartridges in warm water. color ink starts to eat a little, but not black. Just ready to buy new ink cartridges? Thank you for your time
The problem is that the ink is dry the print head. The only way that I never got to work later is clean the print head (part of small packets gold) of alcohol, after hitting the loose paint dry gently with paper and repeat. It can destroy them, but I always imagine that they will not do any good anyway. You and should buy a replacement anyway.
