Printers that use the new (02) cartridges–how long do the cartridges last?
I am trying to choose between the new HP color/ photo printers (7100 series) and another type of HP that uses the old style cartridges (tri-color and black separate-6900 series). The old printer cartridges hold 21 ml of black ink and the new one only holds 10 ml…. but I believe the old printer/cartridges use the technology of cleaning by running ink through them….
should i just go with the newer/ most recent printer?
I am not impressed with Canon so far…. my canon broke because the print head got clogged.
The 02 cartridges last between 350 to 490 pages, depending on color and on usage.
The newer printers have a reservoir in there and are generally more ink-efficient. These links below should help you make a decision.
