ink cartridges dell 725 printer
Dell 725 Color Printer – Trying to find black only.?

Wondering if a black cartridge is available. Can’t find any. Would
any other black cartridges work?? Would it be possible to fill the old one with just black ink??

only the specific cartridge from dell (or a good dell (not lexmark) ) compatible will work. that said, you should be able to refill it or get it refilled for a reasonable price as long as the cartridge has not been damaged.

i do not know of any dell printers that only take one cartridge, but most will print with only one in the carriage. sometimes dell will sell the printer with just one cartridge in it, and i wonder if that is what is going on here. check office depot, staples, or a local cartridge refilling store to see if they have what you need.
