My Lexmark X2500 Printer won’t print?

I know the ink cartridges for this printer are numbers 28+29.. I bought two new ink cartidges from Tesco 34+35… I checkd the instore book and they’re the same type… I’ve gotten home, installed them printed/scanned a test page but still it won’t print any documents/images at all.. I’ve checked my connections I’m using a usb port. I’ve un-installed/re-installed the software with new drivers from the website. Please if anyone can give anymore help or advice reply!!

Try to check if the printer can actually print by making a copy. Place any document/image on the scanner bed then close the cover. Press the color Copy button (green diamond which has 2 paper symbols with Cyan, Yellow and Magenta color) to start copying and printing the page. If it won’t copy, it’s a hardware problem. Maybe with the cartridges, the carrier or worst the printer itself. If it copies the page, then problem is software-related. If you’re using Windows, make sure the print spooler is enabled. Try plugging printer in to a different known working usb port on your computer.
