Ink Cartridge Refill Machine
Nov/100

Does anyone have experience using the “Unifill 500″ Inkjet Cartridge Refilling Machine ?
If you are [or have] using the “Unifill 500″ Inkjet Cartridge Refilling Machine, what is your opinion of this $1,350.00 machine?
Have you had many problems?
Are there any “Continuing ” problems, in one area?
What do you like & dislike about the Unifill 500?
Is the Unifill 500 worth the money – especially with relation to the $40,000.00 “Ink-O-Dem” Walgreens uses?
I am seriously considering buying the Unifill 500; any / all reliable information, from actual experience, will greatly help.
Thanks,
Ken C.

It is an okay machine if you have good quality cores with no colour contamination.
It has been awhile since I have last dealt with one. However, from what I recall, it was unable to flush out colour contaminated cartridges effectively. It was also ineffective with “dry” cartridges.
It is a great starter machine, certainly a step up from a needle and syringes, however you are still going to have cartridges which it cannot manage. There was also a higher than acceptable failure rate for HP 17/23/78/41 style cartridges as well as Lexmark N0016. At point the failure rate was around 25-30%. (these are cartridges which print tested fine, however failed within a week)
