Laser and Ink Jet Printer question Please.?
What exactly is the difference between an ink jet printer and a laser printer?
I have a brother MFC and it seems to have its problems.
My roommate said that I should get a laser printer.
What is the best in your opinions versus the other?
Also, what about a HP Deskjet F2110 All in one printer, Scanner, and copier? They have them on sale at Walmart for $34. What do you think of that one.
I would like one that will print off photos quickly. I am not a computer or printer wizard. Thank you all in advance, for your kind answers and advice.
color laser is much more expensive than ink jet, like 250 – 300 bucks. The cartridges are more, but you get a lot more prints, so the actual cost per print is cheaper.
Lasers use the powder toner, like a copy machine, that is melted onto the paper permanently. A lot of ink jets are water based and will run if they get wet.
A site called Epinions.com posts ratings from ordinary people for all different kinds of stuff. You just have to put in the name and model, and other people can tell you about your product.
