Do re-manufactured ink cartridges from Amazon work well?

I don’t want to spend these ridiculous prices on HP ink anymore, but I don’t want to mess up my printer. I can get a 2 pack of remanufactured for less than a single pack of HP. I have seen comments of issues with the printer showing you need ink but somehow the people have still been able to use the printer. Does anyone know if I will still be able to print an alignment page on my HP 1510? Also, what is the best brand to buy. I was looking at the ones on Amazon. Has anyone had good luck with the cartridges on Amazon?

I have not bought a name brand (HP) in cartridge in many years. They always worked for me, and yes they will print an alignment page for you
