Why does my newly bought Magenta ink cartridge not show as completely full & my Light Magenta & Light Cyan do?

Bought 3 brand new non-refillable “02 Vivera HP Ink cartridges” for my printer today. The Light Cyan and Light Magenta show up as full but the Magenta does not. It shows up a little less than full. If it’s that some of the ink is brought into the printer to be in the ready position, then why aren’t the other two showing up as less than full? No test page was printed after these 3 cartridges were installed. Would you take the one back to the store to swap it out?

The dirty little secret about ink cartridges is they have two. The standard one is normally 75% full. One is just a number the other has the number plus a letter. I’m not sure which on it is that comes full of ink. I learned the hard way about ink cartridges.

This has been my experience with HP cartridges. I use UP printers all the time.
