What is wrong with my Lexmark T620 Laser Printer?

My printer is printing pages with very faded/light ink. I’ve replaced the toner cartridge, but the problem still persists. I’m not too familiar with printers, but after some research, I tried opening the front door during a job and after removing the cartridge, it looks like the ink is faded before the fuser. It is a compatible toner cartridge, so I’m wondering if the generic cartridge is the problem. Any help as to how to test what the problem is would be a great help. Thanks

Hello. Try to check the maintenance count value if it is near 300 thousand. If it reaches that, you may need to install a new maintenance kit because that’s it’s life span. If maintenance count is ok, check the rollers (transfer and charge) and wipe with lint free cloth. If problem is not resolved, rollers may need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
