How do i fix my printer?

I have an Epson CX5800 all in one printer. I just bought a brand new black ink cartridge from Walmart a few weeks ago and only used to to print about 10 pages. It is almost full. For some reason, the printer is telling me that the ink cartridge is empty and that i need to replace it. How do i fix this? (I can hear A lot of ink in the cartridge when i shake it).

First call Epson tech support, they will send you another cartridge after you return the bad one. Then Get a CISS for your printer. It will save you TONS of MONEY, never change a cartridge again and it will pay for itself in a month.

I have been using a CISS for the last year and will not ever be without one again. I use a CX9400Fax which uses a lot of ink like all of them.
