Ink Cannot Be Recognized in EPSON TX100?

I had my printer (EPSON TX100 – a 3-in1 printer/scanner/photocopier) installed with a Continuous Ink System. It has been malfunctioning. For example, I would need to print tonight, but it would not work. The next day, it works perfectly. This has been going on for 3 months now. The problem is always “INK CARTRIDGES CANNOT BE RECOGNIZED”. I tried removing the cartridge, but it won’t budge. I tried giving it a “rest”, but 4 days after, it’s still not working, cartridges still cannot be recognized. Sometimes, all the cartridges cannot be recognized, most of the time, it’s just one cartridge. Still, it won’t print. I’ve already spent $130 on repair.

this is a logic board problem or the cartridge contact need cleaning.

Without seeing I can’t say why they can’t be removed.
