Is it hard to convert the Epson R1800 printer from cartridges to bulk ink for chromablast?

I have the Epson R1800 printer but want to buy the kit to add T-shirts to my current business. I went to an ISS show in Atlanta this past week-end and learned alot.
I see the kit is available but dont know how difficult it will be to convert the printer or if I can even do it myself.
