epson ink cartridges best prices
Is there a site that I can list my own desired specific functions for finding a printer? Seems impossible!?

I have been researching for quite a few weeks now for prices and specs to find a printer to replace mine that just “crapped out”. (Epson C44UX—>only 2 years old!). It’s easy to find reviews, prices and even some sites that help “narrow it down”. But, instead of just having their choices to check or not—>I would just like to be able to list what I need/want and then hopefully be matched with the best choice. Maybe I am asking too much??
I already have a good scanner, so the only things I would want to add would be separate ink cartridges, good quality print, and the ability to make copies….and decent enough photo printing ability (since I don’t do that very much yet). Oh, and prices are fairly decent right now, but my cash flow isn’t….so I’m looking for something around the $100.00 area.
P.S. Is it really cheaper to print your own pics at home or is that just really a myth?? Anyone?…… :0))

A there is no myth here. Think of all of the pictures you’ve paid for that didn’t turn out good. Printing your own, you can just decide to skip the bad ones. As for a site for the printer specs, none that I can find. However I would like to suggest you look into Color LaserJet printers. You can pick up a good used one on ebay. Just be careful about the weight, as the shipping can be ferocious. I have the HP 4550n which weighs in at around 100 pounds, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Great printer, inexpensiive toner cartridges, and top quality. I picked it up well used out of a warehouse sale for $85.00 and travelled 60 mile to get it. You won’t need anything this big, but if you had one, I am sure you’d agree that they are just awesome. As for copying, you already have a scanner and can use that as a copier once you get your new printer. Hope this helps
