Do continuous ink systems (CIS) provide high-quality printing & are they reliable?
I’m looking to buy a CIS for my printer for next year when I go off to university. It’s 5 dollars more than buying the three color cartridges and a black but it has 80% more ink. The site I’m looking to buy from is:

What I am wondering is if it the ink will streak or be blotty, or if I can still use it to print high-quality photos. Also how long do these last before they break? Are they reliable? Any experience?

I have 2 for each of my printers and I love them. The ink is very high quality, not what I expected when I first bought it. They are not always trouble free, but if you have a semi-mechanical mind you will be able to figure out any bumps along the way. I just recommend that you buy one from someone that offers a 30 day money back guarantee. That way you can hook it up and test it, if you don’t like it you can send it back. There are a lot on ebay that have this guarantee so you may want to check around there.
Good luck- I print in color every time now because the ink cost is so low I don’t worry about it! Its really nice to be able to do that.
