Are colored and black toners for HP printers all the same. I want to refill my own?

I have a HP Photosmart multi (fax,copier,printer) and a HP Laser Jet 3550 units. Can I buy the toner in bulk, is it the same and where can I buy it with a discount ?

ONe is inkjet – one is toner. You need different stuff.

Also with the toner, they are smart chipped and cannot be refilled.

It is possible that your inkjet is also smart chipped and cannot be refilled.
