Re: Paper still stuck?

Perhaps I didn’t make myself clear. The paper was already halfway through when the printer stopped and is in such a position that I CAN’T REACH IT TO GET IT OUT!!!! Also, I have been to Staples, Offices Depot, Best Buy and every other office supply store in my city and NOBODY carriers the DELL ink cartridges…they have all told me the same thing….I HAVE to order them directly from Dell. If any one knows of another type cartridge that will fit a Dell PLEASE let me know. Meanwhile, the paper is still stuck INSIDE the printer and I can’t just pull it out.

I don’t have a Dell but with my HP all I need to do if it’s a simple paper jam is turn the printer off and then turn it on again (pull it out of the wall). The paper feeds out automatically.

Or: if your printer can be opened from the back as well then attack the paper from the back.

Or: if the paper rips (or just rip it yourself) pull each end out separately and in the opposite direction (where the paper feeds in vs. where it comes out)

This is basically what I’ve done with my printers if I had a problem (though the biggest bugger has always been a lexmark and not my HPs).
