What brand of all in one printers work with one color at a time?

Have been searching without results for brands that allow one to use either color or black when printing. I know that Dell provides this feature, but their inks are too expensive and extremely difficult to refill. I also need the printer to print fast with cheap ink prices and/or refillable cartridges. Any recommendations out there ?
