new computer owner needs to know about printers?
Plese answers most of the 5 questions..
1. Is it normal to only get about 40 or 50 copies per ink cartridge?
2. I just bought a dell 725, are there compatiable ink cartridges or can you only get it at dell
3. what about refillable cartridges.
4.it is too expensive to use if I just paid about 24 dollars for 40 copies…they told me at dell it would last a year..it has not even last a day! LIARS! It only comes in color not black and white they said. True?
5. Would it be more cost effective in the long run to buy a different printer where I can buy cartridges somewhere like Walmart’s
1. Depending on what you’re printing and the quality you’re printing at I’m sure that would be right in some cases.
2. If you have a look on eBay often you’ll find great bargains on compatible cartridges.
3. Refillable cartridges are a grey area. They can have an adverse affect on your prints if you reuse. It depends if you buy cheap ones or not usually.
4.If you’ve printed a good few pictures then that would be fair play. Compatible cartridges won’t likely be $24 though.
5. That depends on how much the cartridges are and if you’re happy with the printer. You can pick up a good Canon or Epson cheap enough nowadays and buy compatible cartridges for them fairly cheaply that work as well as originals.
