Should I just buy a new printer?

About two years ago I bought a Lexmark Z600 series printer on sale for about $40…..now, I am getting a message on my computer that the printer cannot “see” the new ink cartridges…it thinks it has no ink. Rather than fix it, minimum $30, should I just buy a new one on sale?
I am thinking I should just buy a new one on sale!

Here’s the thing. When you BUY a cheap printer, THEY GOT YOU on the ink.

I recommend that you buy a Canon inkjet printer for around $110. The savings in INK will save you a ton of money in the future. Visit STAPLES or other retail store that will take your unopened Lexmark cartridges back.

You see, Canon has a separate cartridge for each color. That means that you don’t waste any ink when the other color goes empty. Take a look at the volume of the cartridge… Canon’s cartridge holds more ink. Take a look at the price… Canon’s cartridge costs less. You will earn back the price of the printer in no time at all.

You see, DELL has an even more EVIL trick. They charge an arm and leg for ink, but sucker you in with their FREE but TRASHY printer. So be a smart shopper and consider what it will cost to USE IT.

If you really want to save money, and don’t need COLOR, then get a Laser printer.

This Brother printer will cost only a penny per page, instead of 10 cents. It also saves paper by doing a great job and print on BOTH SIDES. This cartridge looks expensive, but prints 7000 pages, instead of 250.

INK also drys out when not used. A laser printer toner DOES NOT. So if your volume is LOW, laser is a better choice.
