Clean Ink Jets Epson

I use HP and Epson ink (ink jet). What is the thinner/cleaner used in the refill kits?

I also use an Epson Stylus Photo 825, but don’t refill the cartridges.
http://www.printpal.com has generic cartridges for about $6 for Black and $7 for color cartridges…much, much better than trying to refill. Also give good quality photo prints. Best wishes, fredg
