Cheapest Printer Ink Cartridges Uk
Nov/100

what printer should I buy?
It’s for my laptop at univeristy and I need the following things;
-Hook up through cable because I won’t have wireless internet only LAN
-print A4 black and white (any extras are fine but I don’t need color, photos, labels ect)
-be cheap to run aka either cheap ink cartridges or it doesn’t use up much ink
-not rediculously bulky (I don’t need a mega portable one cause it will mainly sit on my desk but I don’t have a car and I will have to actually get it to my new housing)
-as cheap as possible to buy in the first place
I live in the uk and I am willing to buy from anywhere, I have an amazon account, a play account, an e-bay account and I live in a city so any uk chainstore I also have access to, any suggestions welcome, thanks
Then you need a cheap second hand B/W Laserjet with cartridges from e-bay
Quite a few available for under £50 some with additional carts
I cannot agree with Mark here. Laser at Uni Inkjets at home, Rubbish! I have two Colour Laser printers at home and they get used for everything. A HP1500 and a HP1600, I have the two due to compatibility with XP, VISTA and Windows 7 systems. In any case they were cheap ex demo’s from PC world and I have spent a few quid more on cheap refills and a couple of second hand Wireless Print Servers as well.
My friends are always buying new refills for their multi functional crappy inkjets which produce far inferior quality to even the nastiest cheapest Laser printer..
My son took our old HP4M+ (B/W) to Uni seven years ago and is still using it to print out his PHD etc. It cost £30 on e-bay and another £20 for two spare carts. one of which is still in its wrapping. As he has done his main degree and it was in Construction and Architecture he need reliable good (B/W) capabilities so this is a proven sugesstion..
