Canon Ink Cartridges Recycling
Nov/100

I have used some recycled ink cartridges in my printer but now my printer says they are empty…?
I have a Canon MP210, is there anyway to reset the cartridge counter (or however it is) as these cartridges are newly full?
Thanks in advance
Most newer cartridges employ a “smart chip” that monitors ink usage. When an “empty” state is detected, the firmware in the printer inhibits printing. This chip is not consumer resettable. Because the ink formulations are proprietary, printers never perform the same or deliver the same quality with generic “one size fits all” ink refills.
I got tired of the high ink prices and bought a Kodak. Their ink replacements sell for about half of what everyone else charges, plus the quality is excellent. (they use pigmented ink!)
