Canon mp620 ink problem?

Well i bought a printer from Canada(the Canon MP620)
and i brought it to New Zealand.
all seems fine but the ink ran out..
So we went to buy ink cartridges but there wasnt any that matched this printer.
so we went to inktec and we found the perfect ink cartridge.
we put it in the machine and it says
“the ink tank cannot be recognised”?
whats wrong?
(btw the brand is Inktec)

it could be a fake ink cartridge.
nowadays all printer had the capability to detect original ink cartridge..
bring to canon to confirm.
if is original, send your printer back to service centre as it had problem detecting the ink cartridge.
