ink cartridge refills?
I’m looking at getting a new printer but I want one that can easily use the ink refills or a cheaper cartridge. I have a Lexmark and was having problems getting it compatible to Vista. I gave up because the cartridges were too expensive anyway. I have thought about a Canon but I’m not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve had a Lexmark, thats cheap enough, and their cartridges are too high. I want a good one even if I don’t buy the ink refills, I don’t want to pay alot of money for more ink cartridges.
If you want a real printer you are on the right track with the Canon, I have repaired all printers over 20 years, I use a Canon at home and my shop, my Canon ink printers are 18 and 14 years old and work like new, my laser printer is an HP laserjet series ll and it was made in 1986 and it has the Canon SX engine, I can’t wait for it to break down so I can strip it and rebuild it, the HP printers are made by Canon, I do a lot of printing with these printers and they work hard, I have not seen to many 20 year old Lexmark, Kodak, Brother ect out there, check out the Canon and HP web sites, make sure the printer is compatible with the Vista operating system, I find it hard to answer your question about an easy cartridge refill, I do this almost everyday for to many years to have a problem with a cartridge, I find Canon easy to refill, the HP is a bit harder, but if you have a problem with that after you buy a Canon just come to answers we Will help you, hope this helped and good luck.
